I am researching the history of greyhound racing in Wales and would like to hear from anyone with anecdotes, photographs, newspaper cuttings, programmes and so forth. I would particularly like to hear from anyone with info on the old Welsh White City Stadium in Sloper Roasd,Cardiff, and the Cardiff Arms Park and Newport's Somerton Park where there was once a triple dead-heat.

I would like to some day have a greyhound when I have a bigger home and fenced yard. This site provided a lot of good information in preparation. They are truly remarkable. I see many adoption stands and each greyhound is so sweet they way they are with people and how calm they seem. Much luck in finding great homes for them all and one day, it will be me.

Anyone else going to the Greyhound Adoption Service 14th Annual Reunion in Westford MA on May 10th? I've been busy bidding on items on Ebay for the raffle. if you are thinking about a greyhound, this is the perfect time to get to meet adopted hounds and their families. Talk to those that have already adopted. www dot greycanine dot com

Laura check out "You Tube" and punch in Greyhounds. You should see how funny and how loveable these guys are, there are quite a few videos of Greyhounds. Watch them and you will be sold.

Hello! I am eagerly searching for the perfect breed to become apart of my life. I've never owned my own dog before (have always had dogs apart of the family growing up) and the more I hear about Greyhounds the more interested I am! They seem like amazing animals, and I would really prefer to rescue a dog in need than to adopt from a breeder. This site has been very informative, since I'm just beginning to familiarize myself with the breed. Thanks for the great information! Any additional advice would be greatly appreciated!

A huge hello from Arizona and the three hounds in Copper Basin. Lady who is a hearing impaired serivce dog for my husband, Amber, my tuxedo therapy hound and loving compagnion, and our current foster, JJ AKA Drooly man. We are looking for a home for JJ who is dark brindle/ white with freckles. He's a huge lover, will lean on anyone and loves long hikes in the desert. The toughest part is he doesn't like small dogs or cats. If anyone is interested our next meet and greet is in Casa Grande at Petsmart. And both my husband and I volunteer through the GPA- Phoenix chapter.

Hello Grey lovers! I hope someone can help me.. I was looking to find Sandra Wolven, who signed this guest book in 1999. She lives in Canada and our greys are related, but she did not have an email address, so I am hoping to be able to get in touch with her and swap stories etc! If anyone knows her now, please help! Thank you!

We adopted our first Greyhound only 7 months ago.He never raced probably because he was on the smaller side. I have never experienced so much love and affection from any animal in my enitire life. And I have had dogs, cats, gerbils rabbits and even a frog. The look of love and the way he adored myself and my wife has left us changed for life. Unfortunatly little Fione was only 7 and had cancer, so we had to put him down after only 7 months. We love him and miss him dearly. We are not ready yet, but we do know we will never own any other breed of dog. These dogs are the most amazing animals alive. He made our house a home.
