Sunset beach walk Possibly have a sunset walk Sunday night on the beach, that would start about an hour before sundown. We did this last year and it was very pretty, and a nice end to the day. Can be a fund raiser for the organization. A number of us visit hospitals and nursing homes with our greys and it would be great to share our tips and experiences and talk about options and training (e.g., Delta) that are available. Also a Blessing of our dogs would be wonderful. I am willing to get the permits, etc... if everyone will bring a piece of wood to throw on the fire, and a stick to roast marshmallows. I have someone working on the marshmallow supply. The space provided is very limited once all of those venders set up their wares. Some of them even had to set up in the grass outside of the fenced area. My husband, dog and I finally gave up and left after the planned purchase of a collar. It was just too confining and my dog was getting upset. That way the clergyman could add a few good words in the way of a Sunday service. This could be done right before the group photo. Safe, informative, beautiful, far enough away that those who object can avoid entirely.
